Through My Garden Gate

Through this garden gate you can enter the back garden on a flagstone
path through the deep ginger and past the towering live oaks into
the oasis of Bentley.

See that big limb of the live oak on the left?  Deep in that ginger and
into a little alcove is where Bentley had his stand off with the
possum.  And just to the right of the gate is where the turtle laid
her eggs.  No baby turtles yet, but we are hopeful.

There is a little private sitting area to the left that you can't see.
There is a glider and two chairs.  Perfect spot to sit when
you want to be alone for a bit.  I will show you that on another
day.  Right now I am only giving you a peek through the gate
because I am joining Good Fences at Run-A-Round Ranch.

Now, it's back out into the garden for more work.  Bentley
and are loving every minute of the perfect day.  Hope that
your day is perfect too!

Big Texas Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

  1. Susan, I had forgotten about the decorations that used to always be on the gate. So glad to see that you have that dog on yours. It's a beautiful entry into the garden.
