A Pink Prize for a Pink Saturday

Yesterday I was so very excited to open a box from my dear friend Cynthia of Cynthia's Cottage Design. Inside was this beautiful Old English Rose tea cup and saucer by Royal Albert. I won it on Cynthia's newest blog The Petite Villa. This new blog is all about her miniatures. I adore miniatures and if you like them too you must visit her new site. It is absolutely charming and delightful!! She also has an etsy shop filled with her creations. Of course her timing was perfect so that I could share this sweet cup and saucer for Pink Saturday.

I love a hot cup of tea and will be enjoying the lovely pink roses each time I brew a cup. Now brew a cup of tea, or pour yourself a cup of coffee and head on over to visit our dear friend Beverly for more Pink Saturday posts!

What is that Bentley? You think you would like a cup of tea? But sweetie, doggies don't drink tea. How about a fresh bowl of water and a biscuit instead?

Love,
Susan and Bentley

  1. What a pretty cup and saucer. Listening to my guy Elvis on sirius while I am typing. They played a concert from Oct 1, 1974 in Ohio. I saw him in 1972 and 1975, so this is fun to listen to. Gosh, he was pretty! Ok, Bentley, so are you!!!

  7. My sister's dog loves to steal tea from our cups after it has cooled of course. If it's iced tea, she is especially determined to steal some licks. Often before we have finished so a new glass must be fetched. HPS to you and Bentley. P.S. I dated a guy in high school named Bentley. lol

  14. HI Susan!

I'm so glad it arrived safe and sound! I'm sure it looks pretty in your gorgeous cottage sweetie! I've been busy with my Mom this week and making more minis, but all is well here in NY. Other than the rain :) Congrats again, it couldn't have gone to a nicer girl! Thanks too for mentioning my new little blog, it's really been such a good outlet for me and I'm finding staying creative keeps me sane :) Thanks too for your sweet email, with friends like you, it's easy to always see the positive and be grateful! Hope your week is wonderful and the sun is shinning for you!

    Hugs, Cynthia xo
